The ref mustn't have seen it as a genuine attempt at winning the ball otherwise it would be only a yellow following the rule change this season.

How is that a red? They've changed the rules already, no? It's only a red if the foul occurs outside the box. If it's inside, then you get a penalty and a yellow to the offending player. Or so I thought.

They have several weaknesses, I'd give bayern and psg the edge over them.

Only if it's a genuine attempt at winning the ball otherwise it's a red.

Weaknesses in that team for definite. I could see Juventus beating them For instance. Have a balance in both attack and defence.

I didn't think it was possible for a ref to change his mind about what card he is giving? Maybe it is but I don't recall seeing it before.

Certainly I don't think they are a perfect team or anything like that, but I think they have the best attributes of the teams left to win it.

Think it's very open this year with no standout. I'd have Real, Bayern, Juve and PSG as the main favourites but the likes of Sevilla, athletico and man city would be capable of beating those sides on any given night too.
