Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It will be tough for Arsenal to break PSG down now.

    Arsenal XI:

    PSG XI:

Quite surprised Cech and Giroud aren't starting for Arsenal.

Interesting to see the highly rated Areola nip ahead of Trapp in the line-up (ho ho). A lot of people reckon he should be the number one, although I like Kevin Trapp. Kurzawa will be missed but the defence looks alright; Silva hasn't played this season I don't think which could be a problem for them. Good to see Rabiot play and he'll be important if they are to win.

PSG's midfield looks much stronger than Arsenal's does. I think PSG can win this but I wonder will Cavani take the chances that come along? He hasn't been playing well.

This is a tough one to predict but it should be a fun game. I'll go with PSG to edge it.
Like yourself, I like Trapp but Areola has massive potential, Id 100% start him

Clear foul and penalty for Celtic. Ter Stegen makes up for his mistake and saves the penalty, good save but maybe Dembele could have put a bit more pace on the ball.

Veratti is a wizard, should have scored there Cavani.

Another opportunity missed for Cavani. I wonder will they pay for these misses.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

PSG can afford to take off one of their 4 centre mids for another attacker.

Messi and Neymar on another level to anyone else.

Arsenal look devoid of ideas; PSG are suffocating them. Set-pieces have been their biggest threat so far so why not throw on Giroud? Aurier has been a problem for them down Arsenal's left flank as well. Matuidi has really done a job on Bellerin down the other flank. With better finishing Arsenal could be out of this already.

Nice free from Neymar. Keeper should do better I think

    Nice free from Neymar.

Well struck but goalie probably should have kept it out

Rodgers and defending rarely go hand in hand.

Although at this level, celtic havent a hope, 3rd in the group is the best they can hope for IMO and scores like this wont help the goal difference.

Aurier has caused Arsenal problems all night. They're lucky Kurzawa is out because he's been doing the same thing at left-back this season.

Ooooooooh. Cavani should have scored again.

Amazing how much Cavani has regressed since he left Napoli. He was an absolutely lethal finisher for them.
