Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Awful from Martinez, if he stays on his feet and just runs with Ronaldo he'll stay with him.

Poor dive from Mahrez...and then Torres loses his footing with a great chance.

If happened in opposite box, have no doubt ref would have given it

Don't think that warranted a second yellow. Clumsy tackle, nothing more. The referee seemed to take delight in sending Martinez off, he couldn't get the red card out of his pocket quick enough.

He's there for his goalscoring, and also, the rest is not half as bad as you make out.

You said he 'lost the ball easily' for the first goal. He never had it. Alonso stepped in front as Ramos gave Ronaldo a very risky pass. Everything he does imperfectly is ratcheted up to a crazy level, as if to suggest he's appalling. It's so fúcking weird.

And yet you downplay obvious mistakes, like the penalty one, so much as to blame others for them, which I find quite odd....

    Stonewall second yellow

The ref could've easily avoided 1 of those yellow cards. Should be striving to keep all players on the pitch unless unavoidable and that wasn't unavoidable.

Possibly, but it's still a dive and a pretty poor one, he was already leaning at a 45 degree angle before falling over.

Huth suspended for second leg now too, great news if Atletico hang on, maybe get another.

The second yellow was a definite yellow. Martinez is at fault for such a stupid tackle after just being booked.

Huth booked and will miss the return leg. They'll be praying for Morgan to be fit enough to come back in.

Not saying it wasn't stupid, just that one of the yellows could be avoided by the ref.

It's going to be up to Neuer to continue to keep this at 1-1.

Neuer giving a masterclass in not being beaten by shots hit straight at him that he should be saving.

There's zero blame on the ref for the red.

One pull back and one stupid trip.

which one?!! I mean a yellow is a yellow? You want the ref to do his job right not be lenient for the sake of entertaining the viewers.

Munich can't hold this out for 17/18 minutes. Pity Bale is off, he would have thrived in this situation.

Poor by Neuer there, you would expect a keeper of his calibre to save that.. i would say 99/100 he would make that save

Just in work and missed the first half. On the way to the pub to watch the second. Just a quick question, a stupid one I know as the answer will be no, but has Ronaldo touched the ball yet or is he his usual anonymous self?

Can you please tell me the first 41 numbers between 1 and 47 that come into your head.I need some numbers for the weekends lotto.

And now, towards Ronaldo, in fairness. Get a room lads!
