Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Moving House with a cat

Hi, just looking for a bit of advice, we've a 15 year old cat who will be coming with us when we move next year.
She's always been free to come & go as she pleases.
I'm just wondering how to go about acclimatising her to her new surroundings, we are moving from an urban setting to a rural one.
She's fit & healthy, you'd never think she was the age she is but she's never like to be confined to the house so I can foresee trying to keep her in a nightmare.
Our new house is also beside a main road which while has it's fair share of traffic it fairly slow moving.
I feel guilty enough up rooting her at the age she is & bringing her somewhere strange, I'd feel awful if something were to happen to her because of the move.

Can you set up an outdoor enclosement for her? Something along these lines:

While she'd not have full freedom she'd still be outdoor and safe and keep in mind vertical space is also important in the cage (so she can look down at her kingdom).
