Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Australian handling has been shocking in contact.

We'll never hear the end of this.

    However, you don't have to.

Australia deserve nothing else from the game
Their handling mistakes cost them but they should have went for a couple of easy 3 points

Australia need to find a pair of half backs.

Irrespective of Australia and Joubert it's impressive stuff from England.

Outstanding defence, took their opportunities and excellent game management overall.

Australia have themselves to blame with awful handling.

But good Christ, England have played the referee perfectly. Australia naive. Hands in the ruck, offside at the ruck. England did it all with little to no punishment. Fair play to them. You do what you're allowed to.

25 missed tackles, and England still win comfortably.

So...the world's best coach*, has just lost the first ever series at home to England in history. So much possession...only 7 points.

I think England can lay rightful claim to being the world's 2nd best side, and I suspect the world rankings will soon reflect that.

Neither team covered themselves in glory. England win by virtue of being less rubbish really.

One of the more bizarre games I've ever watched.

Australia deserved nothing. Brainless performance. It's that old adage, take your points when on offer. Chasing the try from 45mins onwards in a 6 point game, baffling

If Ireland put in England's defensive performance away in Australia we'd be creaming ourselves

If Ireland put in Australia's attacking performance at home in Ireland we'd be asking a lot of questions of the leadership and management of the team.

Absolutely. Buy why let reality get in the way of some good old fashioned begrudgery.

He might be an arsehole but Eddie Jones seems to be the real deal.

No, he beams in from Hyperbole for games he's commentating on.

Looks like Hooper could miss the third test. Footage surfaced of him throwing sand at Haskell https://twitter.com/RichLeighPR/status/744118012349919232. Found it funny on first viewing but realistically it is dangerous and cynical.

Agreed. I was out this morning and couldn't watch the game. Well done to the lads for winning a series out in Oz for the first time ever. They've come a long way from the low point of last autumn. Hopefully your lads can achieve the same in Johannesburg this afternoon.

Back row wasn't that bad IMO.

If Australia had a 9 and a 10 who weren't hopeless they'd have won that game today IMO.

    I don't see the issue...

Alternative angle of the Hooper incident here. He was just being a bit of a bollocks, didn't actually throw it in his face.

That's pretty different, what was he actually doing?

Didn't think Foley had a bad game but very poor management/decision making not to take the penalties on offer in the second half. Possibly cost Australia the match.
