Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sea swimming with dogs in Dublin

Hi. I like to swim in the sea, as does my dog. Does anyone know anywhere in Dublin where it is suitable for us to swim together? We sometimes swim at Balscadden in Howth or White Rock in Killiney, but dogs are prohibited at many of the other popular bathing spots.

Any suggestions of other spots we could try? Coming from city center if that makes any difference.

    Thanks!

We go to Portrane or Donabate. The tide needs to be in for large dogs. There is a nice chipper at Portrane - Pipers for after swim refreshments. :-)

I've gone swimming with my Newf off the Springers in Skerries - I'm not sure if it's allowed or not, but the others who swim there have never objected.
