Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

McNulty is doing his best to let them score. 3 times this half he has come out of his goal and kicked it straight to them.

He's an absolute clown. I cant understand what he thought he was doing there.

**** 1-1. Stupid free to give away just outside the box.

Cork's defence is dropping way too deep.

Why do Cork struggle against 10 men in Europe? Same happened last year against KR. Still a draw would have been a good result before the match and they did get the away goal.

1-1 not bad but given we were against 10 for a long period it should have been seen out.

Should be a full house at The Cross next week. Which I'll miss :(

They didnt make the extra man count at all. Hackens attacking actually got a bit better after the sending off and once they equalized they parked the bus.

Jeepers some strike from Fagan there for the goal!

Great results for Cork and Pats away, everyone assumed theyd be beaten comfortably especially Minsk v Pats? Just hope they dont put 10 men behind ball at home and play for the 0-0 because its rarely worked for Irish sides in Europe.

I cant see Pats doing that, Buckley has picked quite attacking sides in Europe this year which has worked with Pats scoring in all 3 games. Pats quite a strange side really, some exciting players going forward and good technical ability but they dont seem to press well of the ball and defensively are one of the poorer sides in the LOI

1-1 would have been great result before game, but felt Cork left win behind them.

Fair play Pats, their draw was more impressive

BATE Borisov the sequel is on the cards if Dundalk can somehow win in Iceland next week. Draw just made.BATE are 2-0 up going into their second leg so it looks like they'll qualify ok.

City to play Genk should we progress.

Bit of a nothing draw unfortunately. Its neither winnable nor glamorous.

Vojvodina (SRB) or Connah's Quay (WAL) for us. Not the roughest but still we've a hard task against Dinamo.

    What a goal

Not a fatal blow though. Mission still essentially the same for Dundalk: score a goal.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 11,442 Mod ✭✭✭✭Hammer Archer

Dundalk have a shot that's blocked out for a throw. Referee gives the throw to FH

    Massive chance wasted

Daryl Horgan is getting a bot of joy down the left flank. Best chance at creating anything you would think.

Dundalk have dominated both legs but need to be more clinical. FH very little of the ball yet up 1-0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,740 ✭✭✭✭MD1990

Dundalk have an edge in fitness . Need to take some of there chances.

Should be. FH need to score two now on account of Dundalk's away goals. Delighted for them.

    McMillan again with the second.

Fair play Dundalk. Didn't even have a down period after missing the vital penalty. They deserve to win the game and the tie.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,935 ✭✭✭kksaints

Good stuff for Dundalk. Just need to hold on now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Let off there. Should be putting more power into that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,567 ✭✭✭Irish_rat

They really should be winning the tie by about 4 or 5 on aggregate. FH out on there feet at times.

It's going to be interesting to see how they can put it up to BATE Borisov. Obviously a step up but it's the level where Irish teams need to reach

Next ten minutes are worth a million quid. Hope they can hold on
