when my 18month contract expires can i then just switch to another provider immediate

    when my 18 month contract expires for BB and landline can i then just switch to another provider immediately?  very important

    and do I need to notify eir of the switch?

    Hi there. Thanks for getting in touch. You will need to provide 30 days notice in order to cease your account. You can contact the cancellations team on 1800303600 (Opt 1) to submit your cease request 30 days before your contract end date. Stacey

    "eir agrees to accept termination of a Customer’s account outside the Initial Period without the need for one months’ notice in which case the Customer will be obliged to pay to eir a termination charge of one month’s rental in lieu of notice. Outside of the Initial Period Customers who wish to terminate for the purposes of changing service provider will not have to pay a termination charge"

    Hi there. Thanks for getting in touch. Yes you can submit your cease request outside of your contract period without 30 days notice however if you wish to cease on your contract end date you can contact us the month before to submit your request. Stacey
