Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

More sloppiness by Wales. They need to put these guys to bed before they fluke something

Henderson has his engine back, but his final ball has been rusty. Did better that time.

Seen better balls on Embarrassing Bodies.

Love that from Sturridge, after a bunch of pointless pissing about with their passing, he drops deep to just take the ball off the midfielder (not sure who, maybe Dier), turns towards goal and plays it straight into the danger area to feet.

That's what creates chances. The layoff afterwards didn't work on that occasion, but thats the approach to take. no passing back and forth around outside the box, instead just trust your teammates to control the ball under pressure at least 1 in 3 times and you'll create some real chances.

Next World Cup hosts look like the worst team in the tournament.

    Well done Wales.

Bale really is a phenomenal player. Delighted to see himself and Wales having a relatively good tournament so far.

Only 3 contenders for it imo so far - Bale, Modric, and Payet. Noone else touches those guys.

Wonder if that defeat against England was just a bad day at the office for Wales as they are playing very well.

No. Russia are so bad look at all that space. Modric and Iniesta have been top class too.

Btw I said bale was the best player in the tournament before it started and got mocked for it

Williams, Allen, Ramsey are all proof that Wales aren't just a Bale team.

They did everything wrong, the game was there for them but then just bypassed midfield with long punts the whole time, I think because they are used to playing English players they had an inferiority complex.

Support from the England fans is immense tonight.

2 of Bale's goals were absolute gifts, he was totally anonymous against England.

Sorry, you are dead wrong on this.

Williams, Bale, Ramsey are all proof that Wales aren't just an Allen team.

England are a very poor and average team,i honestly taught they had a chance of doing something in france, boy oh boy i was wrong

    Easily.

Payet, Iniesta, Xhaka, Modric, and even Allen, who was the MOTM in their first game, would suggest not quite so easily.

    Allen comes off.

    Great performance.

Did I hear Liverpool were letting him leave this summer?

Wales have tremendous balance, some random nobody players but with Ramsey, Bale and Williams they have an amazing spine.

  • Registered Users Posts: 661 ✭✭✭derm0j073

Allen put in a really good shift, super through ball for the opener.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,444 ✭✭✭✭Skid X

Bit early to be choosing a player of the tournament, to be fair.

No such thing as a one man team at this level.

Really? Odd...it's not exactly a particularly prescient thought, given that he's fairly unequivocally in the top 5 european players, and is the most expensive player in the world, is the fulcrum of his team, and is really really really good...

As much as I'd like to see them lose, should we be hoping for an England win, with regards to the best 4/6 3rd place teams?

I think playing in the middle of the day didn't help either, heat can play a big factor on some teams

No we don't, he's been great this calender year. It's what we think Klopp will do that's the issue. Who knows maybe this tournament will mean a reassessment
