Best of luck all, hope ye have a great race and make sure you smile when crossing the finish line.

Enjoy the whole occasion and the crowd

Busy enough crowd at the expo already. Saw one women crossing the road and she must have been carrying at least ten bags with her

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,186 ✭✭✭ooter

Got there around 12:15 and it was already fairly packed, glad I have that out of the way now.
Flapjack and protein bar in the goody bag have already been demolished.

Picked up my race number and my sons but I mixed them up and don't know which is which :-(
I thought it would be easy but the number on the email is not a race number. Is there a way to tell confirm?

Put the numbers into the race tracker: http://track.rtrt.me/e/TDL-DUBLINM-2016#

Edit: You might have to wait until the race morning for that to work...

Assuming you don't have the same name, that is :)

Different waves. I'm in the last wave.

Picked up my number and said hello to Davedanon and pacing mule at the pacers stall. It feels like there's probably loads of boardsies around but no way to identify them. We need some kind of secret sign!

I know running a marathon can be discombobulating but is it that likely you would forget your own name?

Probably a stoopid question....but do they give out the t-shirt at the expo or after the race?

After the race you'll get a long sleeved t-shirt/top but at the expo you can buy marathon tops.

There was a talk about the route at the expo today and the speaker said we were in for a big surprise at kilmainham jail, anyone know what that is?
He also said the finisher T shirts will be a big surprise too.
