Kinda disapointed we don't have our names on the numbers this year. They're a great souvenir.

i put some sellotape over the the hot drink and t-shirt tear offs. Already they were starting to come off and I want to make sure I get that top when I finish! (IF i can finish!)

I'd say a lot of us had that feeling of " I'd never be able for that " when we started out.. Truth is most people can run a marathon given the correct training ect. .. Stick with the running and your perception of what you can achieve will change in no time ☺

Because at the time even though I was doing the training I wasn't in a position to commit to doing it due to various reasons. So then I entered the ballot and am very thankful to have gotten a place. Also I will be gunning for a time that would have me in wave one. If I don't get into it I think my chances of achieving what I'm going for are gone due to having to weave through thousands of people at the beginning of the race. Also I'm sure there'll be plenty of people in wave one and two who shouldn't be there at all and will be causing enough congestion as it is. So even though I'm not in contention to win the "f**king thing" I'd like to give myself the best chance of getting the most out of the last 4 months of training. So the pritt stick was doing its magic last night and if it works out I'll be f**king delighted!

I did something very similar in a marathon last year. A fella gave me his bib and when I picked it up it turns out he had F after the number. F for FS. I'd be back at the back with the grannies and the slightly overweight people.

Sorry, but I got onto a friend and asked him what he had and what colour it was. B says he, Green. What kinda green?

So I went and did it on Word and printed it off. Cut it out and glued it on!!

Didn't change the name though so people were still hollering 'Allez Didier'. Got used to it by the end and started waving back to 'em.

It is. They seem to have turned on searching by bib number too, which is great.

Thanks. Seems to be an issue with it. A couple of people I was tracking have dropped off. Their bibs aren't showing on the app either
