Boundary Wall Cost Please

Hi

Would really appreciate a ballpark cost (and some advice) for the following:

45m x 2m boundary wall in back garden
- Access is tight. Side access is 700mm
- How much for a block wall without render?
- How much for a block wall with render (one-side only)?
- How much for a brick wall?

- any breakdown of costs would be much appreciated. I'm getting very wild estimated from 3k to 15k (for block only without render)


A few queries:
- how many piers would I need?
- is it possible/cheaper to have block on one side and brick on the other?

Are you kidding? The forum is costs/prices - all other posters are getting costs and prices. What is the function of the forum then.

And - as I've written - I'm getting wildly different quotes of 3k to 15k from 3 different builders.

Break down the different quotes you got. Are they all for the same finish?

Ask each one again to quote for :

1. Block wall without render?
2. How much for a block wall with render (one-side only)?
3. How much for a brick wall?

Possibly questions for your Engineer depending on site conditions.

Maybe go to different people and see what their quotes are. If all are similar then that's the rate.

No - it'll take me another year to save that if I'm lucky. And that's before VAT. Everything's expensive! If you get it done you might let me know how you get on.
