Long shot I know, but I was approached by a lady when I was dropping the kids to creche this morning, asking if I knew anyone else who was missing a bike like mine. Her neighbour found it in a hedge somewhere and has it in her house. If you've lost yours or know someone who has, drop me a PM with some details and we'll see if we can reunite.

Where on FB was it do you know? I'm in the cargo bikes ireland and bullit international owners groups, but didn't see it on either of those - is there another cargo bike group?

Just to be clear, I've not seen this yet, so I don't even know the brand, just that I have been told the colour and that it's like mine.
But to be fair, I'm sure all cargo bikes look the same to most people, so until I see a pic of it then I'm not going to be in a position to do more unfortunately. I've asked for a photo and ideally the frame number to help locate the owner.

Wasn't there one on the stolen bikes thread recently?

So, this is the bike that looks 'exactly like mine' (a bullitt)

appears to be a batavus, with a samax trailer. how someone can mix up a cargo bike and a normal bike with a trailer is beyond me, but anyway!

Not sure how to find the owner of this now, i'll lob it into the stolen bikes thread too.

Let me know when the bidding starts! ;)

Seriously though, good luck finding the owner. A call to a radio station - Ray Darcy or Joe Duffy (shudder) - might be your best bet.

Someone on the stolen bikes thread had a bike stolen with a trailer in the last few weeks AFAIK but I cannot remember the type.

looks like we found the owner! Astrid in Dutch bike shop was able to track the person she sold it to before, so they should be able to collect from the finder.

Fair play. Nice to see someone have property returned.
Hopefully the little scrote who took it gets their own payback too..
