Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

They need to put the crosses in at head height on the penalty spot. There's a good chance we may get a penalty the way the Italians are defending.

We were never going to beat Belgium. That post goal sitting back against Sweden really is the defining moment of our tournament if this stays this way.

Long handled it there. Would want to be careful when on a yellow.

Nudge from Long is no different to the penalty shout

tbh, it suits us to wait until after 80 minutes to score.

The team would probably shít its pants if it scored too soon.

There is it was perpetrated by an Irish Player on the protected Italians!

If the roi qualify or not they have given their all. Normally wouldn't sit thru 90 minutes but very exciting

How have these lads not had more bookings, yet Long has been booked?

Hendrick is a bit of a donkey let's be honest.

Italy doing the right thing taking the RB off

Ireland need to make a few subs soon

Looking like this prick left his cards back in the dressing room. Ogbonna fouling at will

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Just a lack of composure when it matters. But that's this squad.

Ogbonna is getting away with murder.

I'd love to know the free kick stats for this game. Has to be through the roof.

Contrast that Italian deliver with our delivery. It wasn't fantastic, but it was miles better than Irish attempts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Ogbonna is a hatchet man. A pure **** to play against.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 613 ✭✭✭rodge68

Ogbonna could be up for GBH at this stage !

Little snippet of play there where the ball goes back to Randolph...McCarthy runs back to show for it and gets shooed back and Randolph thumps it long.

There's a time and a place bit Jesus the pass was on for a bit of Ireland possession rather than thumping it long for Murphy to not win

Yeah he has. He is toeing the line a bit

This is really there for the taking. Need more Hendrick and Brady on the ball. Murphy doing well up front, showing he's a bit more than just a big man.

Richard Keogh looks like the guy who is usually killed first in a horror movie.

Who usually has a shotgun and drives one of these.

They are there for the taking

This is an international reserve team, who've been happy to let us have the ball and attack their defence, for the whole 1st half.

We can't -despite terrible refereeing - craft a way past them, which is a little dispiriting.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,711 ✭✭✭keano_afc

Italians not up for this at all. They really are there for the taking.

    Duffy, c'mon you're a defender shooting from 30 yards.

He's been very good for us. Getting in positions and was very close in the first half.

The waste of the set pieces has been so frustrating. Professional footballers that cant kick a decent ball into the area, it's terrible.

I don't think we look like scoring. Long looks a very frustrated figure and I just can't see how we can get a goal here.

    Referee is shít.

    That is all.
