Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Get Keane and Hoolahan on, nothing to lose now. Is Walters fit?

I wonder if Ireland got through here would they continue to play like this in the knockout stages.

A lot of this game has been down to Italy being happy to not actually play though...we're not wrestling control from them, they're surrendering it.

Momentum being lost now. They need to show the crowd back in Limerick on the big screens

Hoe many shots outside the box has that been? Players trying to be the hero, cop on.

    Bring on hoolahan and Robbie

Master-class by the wiley old Italians.

They should have conceded at least 2 penalties and are just sitting back. Wily or not, they've been very average.

They have no choice, not enough quality in the Irish attack to find the through ball yet.

It's either shoot from distance or pass the ball back and forth in front of their back 4.

These performances happen every so often and we always say "Jesus, we should play like that more often" but we never do.

I hope someone walks up and just decks this ref at the final whistle.

    0 shots on goal still.

We've had plenty of huff and puff on show but no quality to truly test them. You can't say the Italians have ever had to weather a storm of Irish pressure. I get the feeling we could play for another 45 minutes and not score.

    lack of quality unfortunately.

This is a very poor Italy side.
A moral victory isn't enough. Ireland coming away with nothing after all these chances isn't good enough

George showing his in depth knowledge of offside there. How could anyone be off side if he was cutting it back from the line? It was clearly up for a goal kick.
