Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

To say Ward has rocks for brains would be a compliment.

Love to see an Italian club sign him. Could see him playing for Roma. They'd love his physicality and technical ability, not to mention the tattoos.

    And the hair

    Not even close.

Hugely encouraged by this first 20 mins. They are pressuring the ball all over the pitch, which was sadly lacking against the Belgians.

    Italy look rattled imo.

If only we had one or two really top class attacking players

Hendrick has given a very good account of himself in this tournament.

Yea, Ireland passing it a lot in front of the Italian back 4 but nobody there to play a final pass into the box. All side to side until someone sticks a hopeful cross in.

Ward is just lost in the attacking half.

  • Registered Users Posts: 111 ✭✭Jinonatron

    Italy just training

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,368 ✭✭✭MonkieSocks

Italians are going to let us run till we are shattered.

Then Wack us, Execution style :(

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

It's such a pity Christie can't play on the left I have him ahead of Ward.

We had.. The problem is that we haven't been putting the effort into building a generation to replace them :(

The Irish defenders have realised that there's a midfield between them and Long.

Hendrick is someone we can build around in the coming years. Different class to the rest of our central midfielders.

edit - every time i post in praise of him he shanks one. :-/

Italy will know that we need to make the running; don't think they're rattled.

Even if they are (let's say), this is their B team isn't it?

    Brady is playing well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,948 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Why do we send everyone attacking the ball and no one hanging around the box in case they come out. It's not the first time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,982 ✭✭✭Degag

Great free kick. If we keep delivering balls like this we have to get on the end of something.
