    Hello, I'm starting college in september and I'm looking to set up a bank account that my BTE (back to education) allowance will be payed into. What account am I looking for? Does this cost me money? and are there transaction costs? Thanks Aaron

    As with all bank accounts you will need the one document that everyone knows is completely impossible to forge and has completely baffled and defeated criminals of this country for decades: A utility bill.
    I.e. something any 10 year old can knock up with MS Paint and a €50 printer from Harvey Norman in 5 minutes. :D
    As a German I am laughing at this one for 20 years.
