    Hi all,

Need to know if someone had this experience in my situation.

I have got married my gf last year after being together for year before. Everything was fine for couple of months and there were good enough arguments/violence from past 6 months that she did a favour to me about visa. Now this time I have called garda and made a report and applied for protection order, she left the house taking my stuff too with her i.e, passport, gadgets etc. She is threatening me about my visa that she will go and cancel it.

    I work as a full-time software developer(Contract) from past 1year

Can she do it ? If yes where do I stand with my status ? Can I apply for independent visa due to violence (I have records/pictures)?

    Thank you.

Legal advice can not be given, but a good immigration solicitor can easily put your mind at ease.
