Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thinking about buying one of these brand new. Any pros or cons for either. Had a quick look at the new sportage and it is impressive looking. What are your thoughts? 7 year warranty is also attractive.

Also interested in any links to comparisons by those in the industry.

They are pretty much very similar to each other like most of these type crossovers. Sportage was only launched earlier this year while the Qashqai has been around for about 2 or 3 years and probably due a mid life facelift soon to freshen it up for 2017.

Others to look at the Hyundai Tucson which is the sister car to the Sportage, also look at the Renault Kadjar too which is the sister car to the Qashqai.

We looked at both of these cars earlier this year and definitely preferred the Sportage. It's bigger and has more road presence, with a nicer interior. Half leather as standard and in general better specced in standard form than the Quashqi.

We ended up buying neither in the end and keeping our car, but if I had to change now, I would definitely go for the Sportage.

Renault Kadjar, according to the road tests is better than both of them, cheaper too.
