Brilliant scene. Pacino is the man. You should check out Youtube for the prank calls some American dude makes using that scenes soundboard.

Ah yes some classic calls on there. The Pacino and Arnie boards are what sparked the creation of the victim soundboard community which today consists of 100s of pranksters networking across the globe.

I realise I'm in After Hours so I should expect sarcasm and jokes but can someone tell me exactly what the impact will be if they leave. Just a few sentences, don't stress yourself.

Explain it to me as if I'm 5 and have basic knowledge of what's going on (one of these is true)

The good news would be that that tomorrow would be a good day to buy stuff on Amazon

The bad news would be that you shouldn't really be spending any money on non essential items as you're going to need it for necessities.

The vote in the south east and in Scotland will tip it to remain.
That's the UK for ya, everyone has to dance to Londons tune.

I'd agree. I think the tiny proportion of votes in doesn't really reflect reality. It's good for TV as it's building suspense but once London results start to come in it'll still be the comfortable victory expected, probably around 57% to remain I'd say.

What do you think she was doing?

No idea whatsoever. But I really hope she was rubbing out an X so she could put in into the right box :D

Remain side is nervy about London. I'd be very surprised if it was as high as 57% overall relying on London. The flooding and the lousy weather hit voter turnout.

It's a count. Things get recorded and forms get filled out as the count is carried out. Could have been a number of things.

Just watching Sky news and they have a person repersenting each side. Like little kids arguing with each other. FFS! The vote has already been placed. Just see it out.

I remember hoping for the same thing during Lisbon 2, after seeing some fella leg it out of a polling center with a ballot box sans any sort of garda presence or oversight

Comeback? Just over 10% of results are in

It's like saying a comeback is unlikely after going 1-nil down after 9 minutes in a football match

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,033 ✭✭✭✭Richard Hillman

Paddy Power are now 4/7 leave and 11/8 stay. It may be betting patterns.

Get used to it if you're staying up, idiots that haven't a clue will be overreacting to every result as they come in regardless of their statistical relevance.

Hadn't planned to stay up, yet finding it hard to stop watching :D

Was the same with the Scottish independence referendum, although since I live in Scotland that's not surprising.

    Will wind down soon.

The BBC really are pandering to idiots

Look at the state of your man walking on the map

"look at the length of this bar"

"see how the blue bit is bigger that the yellow bit"

You want to be watching the Betfair exchange. Paddy Power and other firms are just getting their prices from the exchanges. Millions being traded on the exchanges and Leave now favourites at 1.97. I can barely believe what is happening.

    Lol I know the feeling.

At least with the Scottish referendum there was less results to be called in, so it was clearer earlier, and could go to bed knowing either way.
