Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My Almera N16 (04) has developed a low pitched whining noise which increases with engine speed and seems to be located toward the rear. Wheel bearings are OK and I'm inclined to rule out transmission as the noise is still present when coasting in neutral gear. The car is driving normally with no other issues.

Just a guess - friction somewhere? Maybe have someone sit in the back and see if they can 'locate' the direction it's coming from. Have a look around all the wheels, inside and out - may be something in contact with one of them.

Have a look at the brake pads and discs to see if there's any abnormal looking wear from sticking brake caliper.

    +1

Feel the wheels (not the discs!) to see if one of them is hot (after a journey of course).
