    course not,its a somewhat similar chord progression and whilst that song is quite boring and generally rubbish stairway to heaven is a masterpiece.

    bit like when killing joke took nirvana to court over 'come as you are' (versus killing jokes '80s'). Then again, both of them nicked the riff from the Damned anyway('Life goes on').

    Yes the Spirit track is so "boring and generally rubbish" that a lot of people believe that Zeppelin clearly ripped it off :rolleyes:
