Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I filled out an online car insurance quote today and answered all questions truthfully. However to me it all seemed a bit too simple..

What sort of documentation am I going to be asked for in the future to confirm this information I've given?

They will probably want the NCB cert, and maybe a copy of your license and proof of tax.nct.
Beyond that its if you have an accident then they will check the other things.
    Basically it is that simple

They will also look for your NCB schedule from your previous insurance company if applicable detailing the number of claim free years you have. You should have got this with your renewal (if applicable).

Yeah, NCB letter from previous insurer and probably a copy of front/back of driver's licence.

It would be unusual for an insurer to let someone buy a policy if they have no NCB, very unusual.

Ring then first thing Monday morning and check that you entered everything correctly and didn't check a box you shouldn't have.

    Why would it be unusual?

If someone has no NCB then they could either have had a claim, be a first time driver or be inexperienced, all higher risk category drivers.

Online quote engines are designed that anything remotely out of the ordinary declines to quote.
