I'm just on my way down to Kilkenny for the night (rod stewart!) And was wondering could anybody tell me if there's any good fishing on the nore in the town, or if there's any trout fisheries nearby. Have my fly rod with me.

River brownies in the river, best at evening time.

There's a managed trout fishery up the road at Castlecomer.
