Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Independent in the UK have said Wales was polluted by an English agenda.
They need their Celtic cousins support at this time.

Next month Irish flags will be burning on bonfires in NI.

Was Ramsey kick off illegal? Only one player and ball never moved into oppositions half??

Have you watched any other games at the Euros

Ward wins the ball back and they pass the ball out of play. Soul destroying stuff.

    I'll be happy whoever wins.

Shocking game so far but that's hardly a surprise.

I dont think I have a dislike for a team more than NI

Really hope Wales do a number on them

The nonsense the NI fans were saying about us before the Italy game and some here still support them

Strange love in for the north coming from the south.

Unionist team with unionist supports who hate your guts. Hope Wales hammer them.

That's just petty minded people- we have those too

They try to paint these games as derbys but I was at a Wales vs Scotland friendly and the stadium was half full(ok the stadium is big) and nobody gave a ****, the only rivalry is with England, there is no connection or rivalry between these two teams.

Wales not doing a whole lot so far.

    Going wide, no?

Oh god, why didnt Ramsey leave it.

Wasn't going to go in despite Savage's bizarre "look at the power he gets into it" comment. It was trickling.

Possibly, but it might have had a Van Kieft spin on it. It's was pretty obvious he was offside though, it was never going to be anything other than offside if his touched it.

    Damn that offside fleg!

500 went to see this game at the Aviva at the cringiest attempt to create a 'rival tournament' the 'Celtic cup'

Come on Wales, get it together.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 648 ✭✭✭Mec27

I expect a tight local derby with lots of huff and puff but short on quality. Wales by one.

Well it's been nothing resembling a derby. Both teams know what is at stake, I never understand why people think these tournaments 'come alive' in the knockout rounds. Teams now have everything to lose.

This is the first match I've watched on bbc. I know they've a bigger budget, but my word the analysis is so much better than our boys. They actually know the players names, for one thing. Dunphy is entertaining, but in general the three lads are stealing a living really

I hope you said 'she can't sing' it would really confuse your friend.

Well this is boring! Wales don't know what to do with possession and Northern Ireland are happy enough with that!

They have Neil Lennon and Dean Saunders on the panel and it is a British channel showing two British teams, clearly they are going to know the players.

This game will get going in the 2nd half.

Watch them cover a non-British team and they wont.

You bought into the Welsh hype, they destroyed a **** Russia team who kept allowing Wales to counterattack, lol they aren't going to pass anyone off the park.

You would think RTE's three senior panellists would as well. Typically they don't, regardless of the location of the teams involved

2 God awful teams. Unless bale or Ramsey do something it's penalties

Wales doing the right thing, play a bit of route one and play on the loose ball. Lots of NI players up the pitch pressing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,050 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

Penalties in this one too methinks.

Yellow cards should be reset after the group stage IMO. It's silly having a yellow card in gameweek 1 or 2 ruling you out if you pick up another between gameweek 3 and the last 16.
