No team news yet but Luka Modric should return for Croatia. It's unclear whether Mandzukic will start up top or Kalinic.

For Portugal, you'd think Quaresma might come back in since he did so well when he came on as a sub against Hungary.

Croatia are considered favourites, and I think deservedly so, but as I backed Portugal to win the tournament I'm sticking by them and going 2-1 to Portugal.

Good to see Fonte come in at the back for Portugal which will hopefully make them more solid. Surprised that Quaresma is still designated as super sub as I thought he did enough to warrant a start.

Kalinic is unlucky to miss out for Croatia too after his goal against Spain. You get the feeling the bench could be a difference maker in this game.

First game I've watched on TV3 in some time. Look, it's great having the football on free-to-air and I do appreciate it, but how on earth is the picture quality so poor?

Pretty decent on Virgin/UPC tbf. A smidgen sharper than RTE even.

The tv3 saorview picture is so poor here that i thought the Croats were wearing a pink shirt n socks. Only the close ups show the red n white checker.

Portugal have good weapons on the bench in Quaresma and Sanches. Hopefully they make the difference but it's hard to call at this point.

Yeah, I was watching the last round of group games, switching back and forth between two games (which were played at the same time). I had it on RTE TWO HD and then switched over to TV3 and thought there was something wrong. I was scrambling around for my glasses........ until I remembered that I dont wear glasses. :pac:
