This year's Track Cycling International takes place at Sundrive Velodrome (Eamonn Ceannt Park, Sundrive Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12) next weekend

This is your opportunity to see top class international racers and racing close up. Entry is free. The event is promoted in conjunction with Dublin City Council, and their sponsorship is important to allow this event to retain its current ranking on the UCI calendar. Equally though the Council want to not only see some of the best track racers participating but also want to see spectators turn up to watch the action.

More details are on the Track Cycling Ireland website which also includes the entry list. You will see that we yet again are expecting the likes of Lucas Liss, Elia Viviani, Kenny de Ketele and Tim Veldt along with a host of domestic starts including Eoin Mullen who is flying in for the event.

If you get a chance I would encourage you to head over to see what promises to be some of the most exciting racing of the season

Last year they started at 9.45 each day with pretty much back to back racing until just before 2, a short lunch break and action then continuing until around 5.30pm.

I am sure they will put a detailed programme up later this week as they need to work through timings based on numbers of entries for each event.
