Hi everyone, I wanted to buy my own commercial van policy, as I have a van lined up, basically I wanted to know do you need to have a trade to take out your own policy? A family member has said there is a job going as a courier where he works but I'd need a van, but it's a daily rate which suits me and I assume the company…

Hi everyone, I wanted to buy my own commercial van policy, as I have a van lined up, basically I wanted to know do you need to have a trade to take out your own policy? A family member has said there is a job going as a courier where he works but I'd need a van, but it's a daily rate which suits me and I assume the company wouldn't insure the van. I've 5 years no claims in a car, I've driven vans before should I be looking at much for my first policy and will my 5 years NCB follow to this new policy or am I starting from fresh, I'm literally clueless here any help would be appreciated.
