Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

And all the women's surnames end in -dottir. Gylfi Siggurdsson is the son of Siggurd, and his son will be something like Magnus Gylflisson, so there's no set family surname.
    Ah, I see :o

Say what you will about England, but the fact that they can be so impressive in qualifiers and immediately **** the togs once in a proper game to anybody is why they're the most entertaining national side around. Like a co-operation of clowns.

Sickening that Rooney is allowed take corners... and wear socks.

It's sickening that he's allow breathe!

Wonder how long before the playing in the heat in the south of France excuses will surface?:pac:

Iceland trained in Geyser fields and live beside rivers of lava and volcanos so are used to it.

It's as if Iceland's fantastic qualifying campaign (beating Holland twice, as well as Czech Republic & Turkey), and their 3 games unbeaten at the finals (including beating Austria) count for nothing.

If anyone needs an answer to why people want the English team to do poorly, the blame lies right there with the English media.

    And their sh!t keeper :pac:

Remember when people used to debate if Hart was better than De Gea? There is not one person around with a shred of cop on could say that now

He hit the ball too far and they are blaming the grass

This is deadly, real end to end stuff. I thought this would be the worst match in this round of games.

Who put the ball in the English net? Ray Houghton is going to lose his claim to fame

England need a Hart transplant if they get through.

Anyone else think Fraser Forster should get the nod for the keeper spot after the Euros? Hart is so error-prone.

Hart just needs dropping to soften his cough and sharpen him up again. If you know you'll never be challenged your form will drop.

Nonsense. Having a terrible terrible tournament, he's still a great keeper.

Ah come on, he's not been great for City for a while either.

All he's good for is shouting 'come on' in the tunnel before a game.

He's not perfect but he's got a lot more in him than he's shown recently. It's a match thread though, no point in arguing with heat of the moment comments.

Great ball from passenger no.10 Rooney.

Saw on Twitter that Hart has conceded 4 goals from the last 7 shots on target he's faced, while Iceland have 6 goals from just 11 shots on target.

So Hart is very shaky right now and Iceland are looking clinical. They couldn't get a third could they?

We've seen Italy, who are far more than the sum of their parts, and now England who are far less.

England need half time badly, and a center half and a goalkeeper even more badly.

Great effort from Kane. If England get through this, Hart's position should really come under the spot light. They've an excellent keeper there in FF

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Ali should have been booked there.

Alli should have been booked for a blatant dive there.

Dunphy is sat in the studio with a serious hard on. He had England's obituary written before the match started, he'll loose his **** if the score stays like this.

Amazing to think of the performances that Randolph put in for us, when compared to the purported "best goalkeeper in England".
