Phone insurance for a phone bought on Amazon

Most phone insurance companies in Ireland seem to only insure phones that are bought in Ireland. Has anyone ever managed to insure a phone bought on Amazon from a seller in the UK say? Also Amazon have started doing their own insurance but only for UK residents sadly.

One or two do allow once you have proof of purchase etc. I cant remember which companies, will post back if I think of them
