Where would you fit it in? If we weren't int he shield we'd probably play a friendly around that date but 4 games before the league starts is loads.

Quandary

Really like the look of Renato Sanchez. He plays with so much aggression and confidence for an 18 year old. Always looking for the ball and driving forward with it from midfield. Shame we couldn't get him, I think he will be a superstar in a couple of years.

On a positive note, we are looking pretty good so far in the transfers dept

Feck forgot about that. Wonder what sort of side we'll put out for it. Maybe the likes of Giggs, Scholes and that could play. I can't see us playing the first team for too long given the closeness of the CS match.

I wonder if...

It was said in the media that Pjanic was a target for United but they let Juventus sign him.
Sanches was a target for United but they then stalled on that.
Raiola according to some in the media wants Pogba to move to United.
L'equipe say Pogba always intended on returning at some stage of his career to United.
So is everything pointing to Pogba signing or just another fantasy signing?

Will be interesting to see what level of wages Ibra will be on,has a v high opinion of himself so well over 200 k sterling a week I would think.
Likes of Martial will learn lots from him as regards runs to make,link up play etc....Rooney will be a worried man this evening as I would say the starting striker order at Utd is now Ibra,Martial,Rashford and lastly Rooney.That is of course if Mickey Ryan and Depay are on the wings.

I'm cautiously optimistic, but not title challenge optimistic. Maybe Jose will crash and burn, maybe he will absolutely rip it up and push for the title, I'm just not sure which way to lean.

One thing is for sure though, this is the most optimistic I've felt since Fergie called it a day.

Don't think we can give up on mata and the likes yet. We are counting on new signings settling straight away but that don't always happen and we have two kids playing attack they can loose form it's not all straight forward.

I'm hoping the likes of Memphis and mata and ander will force their way into the team hopefully new manager and new energy we have an abundance of Tallent in the squad if they can forget what lvg teach them.

Excited to see where Giggs goes next with his career. Sounds like he is a bit bitter about not getting the Utd job but it was the right decision. To give him the England job would be even worse but surely the FA wouldn't even consider him......surely right.

My prediction is he will take on a lower/ mid level PL club mid season next season.
