Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Beckham at Wimbledon watching Murray, personally would want to watch the Djokovic match.

I was a big fan of Beckham when he played for us, was sorry to see him leave in comparison to Giggs today.

I'd say you would feel different if the roles were reversed.. I think Giggs been part of 2 failed managerial regimes has seriously blighted his legacy in some fans eyes..

There's a very clear message from the boss as to who is the boss. And there's no boss in waiting. It's a clean break and gives Mourinho the space to do his own thing. If he gets the players he's looking for then next season could be the start of a new golden era.

Of all time? Over cantona, beckham, scholes, Ronaldo even Keane???

Man that's crazy **** right there....

Yup, love that type of player and especially striker.

Favourite players should be a personal thing anyway. Berbatov resonated with me due to his lack of pace but lovely touch and ability.

Bergkamp is my favourite player of all time, so you can kind of see a pattern here

A lot of chatter that Mata has agreed personal terms with Everton? After Zlatan seemingly getting number 8, I wonder if this has any weight?

Everton? Can't see him going there, plenty of bigger teams would have him.

Any links to it? I know the number eight chatter is from Zlatan asking the staff what number he was and it looks like he says back to the staff. 8.. that's cool..

Why would that stop them signing Mata? totally different players, different positions... unless you meant financially?

Not as impressed with that myself. Pogba is a Juventus player. Rooney is not a good enough midfielder so why play him there when you have a genuine midfielder like Schneiderlin, Blind, or even TFM? Why play TFM at right back when you have Darmian? Why play Mkhitaryan in the #10 role when you have Mata or Rooney? Why play Rashford on the right wing when you have Mkhitaryan? The whole right side of the team has a combined age of 36 and less club appearances between them.

I presume another central defender will be brought in. I don't really want to see Blind there again. Not trying to single him out as shocking or anything but he just isn't a centre half.

An anchor in midfield would be nice as well.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,511 ✭✭✭VW 1

Already a strong dislike of conte.

So it is being claimed that Mkhitaryan texted Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Borussia Dortmund about his transfer to United.
He was suppose to have been close to agreeing a new contract with Dortmund in May, but he had terminated the lease on his house in Dortmund in March, probably had to give something like a three month notice.
It is claimed the text simply read "I go to Manchester".
