Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fellaini has been very good in possession, hardly ever gives the ball away

Game turned on its head since Fellaini came on.

    Cancel the Pogba deal.

Spend it on Bonucci and Stones just to annoy City. :)

Big shout out to MD1990. Really turned the game around for us :)

Chelsea lost all their pre-season games too last season.

Despite we had already won 1 game of 2.

    Ahh love it ha.

Can't believe community shield is next weekend already it's nice to be in the season opener again.

All jokes aside has everyone forgot how good Fellaini was in midfield at the end of last season? He was great against Everton in the semi final.

Add Pogba to this squad and we should be winning things. The style of play was killing us. Its dramatically better now already.

I could have gone to this match, I would have free accommodation too.

The second half of this game has been a joy.

He's bossing it like it was a pre-season friendly... would Galatasaray buy him?

Valencia was playing well for the last month of last season too after coming back into the team. He gets a hard time but on that/this form he's a real asset down the right.

Ivanovic was always bombing down the right too for Chelsea.

Carrick and Fellaini should be the midfield pairing next week

Is that the first touch Romero has had?

Enjoyed that, feel so positive about this season.

    No more LVG's castrated play.

I hope that Iceland chant doesn't make it's way into the PL :P

    Isn't it from Motherwell anyway?

It's should be banned same way as the vuvuzella things.

I'd have Pogba ahead of the pair of them

Gas how most here reckoned the starting line up minus Rooney was the way to go, yet United's most dominating and fruitful spell came when Ibrahimovich, Martial and Mkhitaryan were off the field while Rooney was still on.

Maybe it should be banned but certainly not for the same reason as the vuvuzella. That was just annoying as ****.

The chant is the complete opposite. It's epic. But it belongs to the Icelandics. It belongs to them and Euro 2016. It should not be counter fitted.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Ha this is bizzare and cringeworthy in equal measures.

Except that they robbed it from Motherwell.

I'd agree, but they also got it from Motherwell :P it's a chant Motherwell have done for a bit and an Icelandic team played them in a Europa League qualifying match years ago and loved the chant and sort of adopted it. Brought it into the league and then with the Viking comparisons made, it made its way into the national support.

Ah yeah, I'd agree though Carrick and Fellaini to start next weekend.

    4-2-4, Rashford
    Rooney----Ibra----mkhitaryan.

So supposedly Ibra name dropped Pogba in his interview on Swedish TV :D

It's not annoying yet but give it a few months and the likes of the city fans that jump on these kinda things and it will be bloody annoying.

    Memphis playing quite decent.

An academy player can be decent.

Compare Rashford to Memphis right now and you'd wonder how he's still at the club.

He's on a 'David Bentley' career trajectory unless Jose can rescue him as a footballer.

    Lads, quick warning.

Accusing people of being re-regs and/or duplicate accounts is against the charter and the rules of the site. If you think someone is a re-reg or a second account, then please contact mods and give us some proof/reasoning. If you think it's "banter", realise not everyone sees it that way, and that what some might consider "banter" might come across as a very negative message towards newer posters.

After this, further accusations, implications or otherwise will be a yellow card.
