Zlatan and Rooney seem to be regularly switching who goes further forward and who drops back to midfield, be interesting to see how the partnership develops. Some nice links already in this half.

When the attack clicks this season it's going to be special. Mkhitaryan isn't on pitch either so when he is, even better.

Defence might be a worry alright but I'd say Jose will ship one or two out and replace.

Players looking better and sharper. Only one that looks a bit rusty is Martial but I'm sure he'll be fine. Still showing glimpses of beauty

Wasnt his earler article about trying to get rid if 4 defenders and bringing in one again doesnt add up maths wise ;D

It was a quiet enough half but there was some good signs they found it hard to break threw Everton defence but they are trying fast passing and the more training they do the better and sharper they will get.

In the box Tony looked more willing to attack he looks better then turn back Tony

Mourinho said as much before the game. Said he knows it's his testimonial but wants to rest him and others before Community Shield so he was approaching it like any other pre-season friendly

Blind, Jones, Rojo, Borthwick Jack and McNair on loan. Then bring in 1, if that is true then Jose wouldn't be expecting many injuries.
