Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Pep must be getting frustrated.
He wants Bonucci and it is reported that he will stay at Juventus.
He wants Sane and it seems he might move to Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile United will have got the four players they wanted as it seems Pogba is happening.

DiMarizio saying United bid €101m and Juventus rejected. They want €120m and are ready to let him go cause Pogba has chosen Jose's project over their own.

Makes me wonder where the €100M figure came from in the first place. From the moment the transfer was first mentioned, 100M was the reported figure, The more it was reported the more everybody accepted it'd only happen for nine figures. Maybe it was because it'd only happen for a world record, but could we not have started with something sensible, like 75M? We could have settled for under 100M instead of a starting point above the large psychological barrier of 100.

Increasingly convinced the Mourinho tactics board photo is no accident. Making it clear what manager expects. And it does say Pogba.

Utd will offer Juve 119m and one euro

Mkhitaryan shirt for sale before he is signed and now Pogba on the the tactics board... liking the new aggression in the transfer market I must say... :P

Be good for him to endure a little transfer market pain. See what its like for a change

Squad is extremely strong, can't wait for the season to begin.

I dare say the thread here hasn't been this optimistic since Ferguson left, and my word I cannot wait for the press conferences this season, Mourinho and Ibrahimovich, god only knows the amount of quotes that will come from them :pac:

I think we really need another cover CB. Blind is fine as cover for Bailly but I wouldn't fancy seeing Blind and Bailly together for a long period if Smalling gets injured. Mourinho has already said that Bailly is raw so you would expect there to be a good bit of rotation beside Smalling.

And we have an early contender for worst headline of the season from The Sun,

"Paul Pogba has been pictured partying with an e-cigarette in his mouth in Miami."

Sounds like a terribly boring party to be fair but not exactly "news".

    Mata is done :o

Why? Looks like his name is on the board in the 10 position.

yeah but alongside the undropable one. I have a feeling though that next season will be the one where Rooney fades away a bit from constant first name on the starting line up.

He has his moments where he plays incredible such as that run in the FA Cup final for Mata's goal.

But he has his fair share of stinkers such as that England performance vs Iceland where he could barely string together a pass.

If we are going to spunk away some money why not offer Madrid £70/80 million for Kroos? You think they would turn down that much for him? Or £60/70 million for Varane? Both insane sums for a player but both would be better pieces of business to my eyes.

60/70 Million pounds for Varane would be such a **** deal for ManUtd. He made so many mistakes playing but somehow he is so highly rated and are ready to pay insane amount.

I'll still believe Pogba when I see it.

If it happened, that must be it for the squad, unless someone leaves?

    Wow...
How did you figure that out???
Maybe cos Jose said it at his first press conference???
Working on the fourth deal and that would be it for signings unless guys leave..

Are they really "bids" in the sense of an auction, or is it just a haggling session.

Ya,turned down first offer, then hold the mouse over the plus icon and watch the next offer go up at a rate of knots

Or else Jose could do a Wenger on it,next offer £85.1 million
