Makes me wonder where the €100M figure came from in the first place. From the moment the transfer was first mentioned, 100M was the reported figure, The more it was reported the more everybody accepted it'd only happen for nine figures. Maybe it was because it'd only happen for a world record, but could we not have started with something sensible, like 75M? We could have settled for under 100M instead of a starting point above the large psychological barrier of 100.

I think we really need another cover CB. Blind is fine as cover for Bailly but I wouldn't fancy seeing Blind and Bailly together for a long period if Smalling gets injured. Mourinho has already said that Bailly is raw so you would expect there to be a good bit of rotation beside Smalling.

yeah but alongside the undropable one. I have a feeling though that next season will be the one where Rooney fades away a bit from constant first name on the starting line up.

He has his moments where he plays incredible such as that run in the FA Cup final for Mata's goal.

But he has his fair share of stinkers such as that England performance vs Iceland where he could barely string together a pass.
