Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

32 players listed as well, that squad is definitely getting cut

I think we can safely assume Wilson, Varela and Blackett are off on loan or permanently.

James Wilson and Varela didn't get numbers

Utd chasing a RB as well as wrapping up Pogba deal so I'd say.

Need to fill the no. 2 and no. 6 shirts.

I think Mata looks very vulnerable looking at those squad numbers!

New RB 2 and Matuidi 6? :pac:

Probably Fabinho.. but which or Valencia or Darmian to leave? I reckon Valencia is a goner as Darmian can play either side

Mark Sullivan on MUTV, 'Paul Pogba is the man on the lips of everyone at Manchester United'.

Luke Shaw say they have to get use to the weather, that they are sweating if they simply have to walk.
He is feeling good and hoping he doesn't pick up any niggles. Doesn't want to build up how well everything is going well because it was last year too.

Neil Custis looked like he was struggling, he looked really bad and then admitted the heat was difficult.

Shame the club hasn't taken the Fergie approach with that twat.

    Varela.

If he is to replace varela it would mean we have for RB Fabinho Darmian & Valencia and for LB Shaw Rojo(according to Jose's whiteboard) & CBJ

Jose seemingly likes to have 2 first team players for each position so I think one of Valencia or Rojo is up for the chop as CBJ can start with the u21's if we sell rojo, Darmian could be our back up LB and fill in at RB if needed.

TFM is miles ahead of CBJ ! I hope anyway!

Well you would have to wonder why Bailly didn't get no.6..

Of course it is. Jose wants one more player and we all know its Pogba but if not him then it will be someone else. Doesn't mean Pogba is nailed on to sign.

Yeah but probably in his more natural positions in DM or CB, definitely not in LB where CBJ has been operating..

He should have signed it, to be honest. Would be different if he was being linked with leaving us for chelsea. Wonder did he go back to the person after that vid ends.

That's disappointing. He's a Chelsea legend and isn't it great that a Blues fan still thinks of him as such. Then to be rejected like that... Tasteless and ultimately unnecessary.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,597 ✭✭✭✭Trigger

I think it's a lose/lose situation for him, he will be damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.. either way he is going to piss of some fans..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,767 ✭✭✭✭Leroy42

Whats wrong with with he did? If the person wants something signed buy a Utd jersey. Try bringing a I Love Clinton poster to the republican party convention and get Trump to sign it!

It's nothing like that at all. Jose managed Chelsea for nearly 6 years, the fan obviously still loves him. United fans would hardly have been outraged if he signed it.

That's it infairness. I have nothing against Chelsea or the fans they are a better bunch then some of the others but it's still nice for a manager to show what side he is fighting on.

I don't care about the usual ones coming along talking about a lack of class blah blah I'm glad he is ours.

    He should have signed it.

It's not like it was a English Chelsea fan chancing his arm popping over to Manchester to get a signature.

It's a Chelsea fan in China with his only ever chance to get his shirt signed by his hero.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

As for the shirt signing, meh much ado about nothing. If anything you could read it as showing his focus on the job at hand I suppose.

As someone said earlier, damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

Have to laugh at calling it tasteless. For **** sake like.

He's there as the new Man Utd manager on a Man Utd tour with Man Utd.

Storm in a tea cup. Why am I even getting sucked in?

Should he not sign an autograph book because it doesn't have a Man U logo on it?

I hear ye. I just don't think it would have been any harm.

Unless of course he is better over his last stint there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,508 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Crinklewood

He should only sign officially endorsed Manchester United paper.

He should only sign said officially endorsed Manchester United paper with an officially endorsed Manchester United pen.

He should only sign said officially endorsed Manchester United paper with an officially endorsed Manchester United pen which contains officially endorsed Manchester United ink.

This ink must not be coloured blue.

I think legally he can't sign it anyway. Something do with sponsorship and all that

Know Golfers can't sign autographs on the balls they don't play etc

sorry that is complete cu%^ish. That young kid has probably idolised him and he has claimed how much he loves the club and the fans. Morinho is a great manager but, unless this was a joke (and he went back and signed it) he is a bit pathetic.

Yeah because thats the same thing

Manchester United are there to represent the club and sponsors.

Jose is there to represent the club and sponsors.

The Club ambassadors are there to represent the club and sponsors.

None of them are there to represent other Clubs.
