Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I love Baler. It's amazing to see 4 defenders simultaneously ****ting themselves because he on his own is running with the ball.

The week off looks to have done Bale the world of good. I think he's finally fully fit. One of the very best in Europe.

Bale is head and shoulders the best player on the pitch

Bale so close to a second.

Bale is some player, definitely got better since going to Madrid , so relaxed on the ball

I don't mind who wins this game as long as they beat the living daylights out of Portugal and prevent Ronaldo from scoring.

In fairness 3/4 of their first choice defence is injured.

That's true but no excuse for that sort of schoolboy defending.
    Belgium are mentally soft.

IS it just me, but have Wales got better and better as the tournament progressed...

That corner showed how badly drilled and motivated the Belgium players are.

Bar Bale, Wales' best header of the ball left alone in the box, and De Bruyne doing sweet fúck all on the post.

Wales play like a club side and that's a compliment! :pac:

Robson-Kanu is quite underrated, the amount of work he does up front is something else.

He's a free agent at the moment

Belgium seem in shock since the goal

Their midfield has really started to click nicely at the right time.

Belgium are useless at defending set pieces.

I'd love to see Wales get another goal. Belgium will get a rollicking at half time.

    Belgium really missing Vertonghen today.

Belgium defence looking very shaky. Wales need to start the 2nd half on top

Wales showing you that when you pick a TEAM that have each others backs and believe in what the manager tells you, you can go a long way.

    England take note.

Yes a world class players helps too

I thought Belgium were going to steamroll them judged on the first 15 minutes but since then Wales have been brilliant.

Well Allen has certainly done his part alright, but Bale has stepped up too to be fair.

Go Wales.Would love to see them win.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Ramsey and Allen have being very good,

Ramsey has really come into the game after Belgium scored and Allen is just keeping the ball moving, keeping things nice and simple

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

Thought Hennessy mistimed the save but still a great strike.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

Bale has been getting all the plaudits because of the price tag and the headline grabbing goals but on the balance of play I think there's been a case for Ramsey being player of the tournament.

    Come on Wales!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,294 ✭✭✭LiamoSail

KDB should have blocked that on the line, no excuse for him.

Fair play to Wales though, they've really come in to the game. I had hoped Belgium would run riot after they got the first, but Wales have really stepped up. I'm both surprised and pissed off

Uh why are BBC doing ANOTHER piece on England? Sad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

Good old BBC, even with England out they managed to get England coverage in.

Shame Joe Allen's pass led to the Belgium goal, but he has been absolutely SUPERB for us this tournament.
