The difference between McCarthy and Allen is light years. Allen caused the goal but he still comes looking for everything from his defenders we just need players to want to get on the ball and pass it. This Welsh team is not a million miles off us. But they have a far better approach and belief.

Going away from England's physical style has developed his game and of course learning from brilliant players. This season hes been excellent particularly in the last 3 months.

Atletico and Barca try to run him down cul de sacs in the past but he is so aware now to release the ball very quickly. I watch Madrid a good bit btw and technically he has improved.

Also Allen is a joy to watch tonight. Should move from the England IMO
