Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bale has been getting all the plaudits because of the price tag and the headline grabbing goals but on the balance of play I think there's been a case for Ramsey being player of the tournament.

Dont know about player of tournament but Ramsey has been good. And I doubt Bale would have a problem with that, terrific team player as well as individual. Really great to watch that first half.

When Nainggolan hits a ball it stays hit.

Wales and Belgium are playing, we don't need to hear about England

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,065 ✭✭✭otnomart

De Bruyne is not pulling his weight, spoiled brat as he is (great dive earlier by the way), it' like Belgium are playing with 10 men.
    Wales won the first half

Good old BBC, even with England out they managed to get England coverage in.

Actually refreshing to see Sherer come down off the fence.

BBC talking about England is the TV3 equivalent of going to ads - takes up about 90% of halftime.

Well Allen has certainly done his part alright, but Bale has stepped up too to be fair.

The difference between McCarthy and Allen is light years. Allen caused the goal but he still comes looking for everything from his defenders we just need players to want to get on the ball and pass it. This Welsh team is not a million miles off us. But they have a far better approach and belief.

If we played like we did against France and Italy in the Belgium game I'd say wed have won

Great piece from Lampard though. Very intelligent and always speaks logic

Bale is some player, definitely got better since going to Madrid , so relaxed on the ball

Going away from England's physical style has developed his game and of course learning from brilliant players. This season hes been excellent particularly in the last 3 months.

Atletico and Barca try to run him down cul de sacs in the past but he is so aware now to release the ball very quickly. I watch Madrid a good bit btw and technically he has improved.

Also Allen is a joy to watch tonight. Should move from the England IMO

If Wales go on to win the tournament they'll find a way to shoehorn in a discussion about England. 'What can England do to learn from this, Alan?'

Suicidal move by Wilmots, taking Carrasco off for Fellaini. Belgium is down to 9 men

Following the ads here on TV3. That's awful that they're bollicking on about England during Wales most important game ever.

Ugh. Fellaini. Satan's response to the beautiful game

Belgium all over Wales again, just like the start of the 1st half. Hopefully they don't score this time though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,022 ✭✭✭jamesbere

Leave hazard turn inside on his right and your going to be in trouble

Wales just need to see out the next five minutes until the game settles into a rhythm again.

He is wasted at Swansea, werent Arsenal apparently interested in him a few seasons back?
