Has anyone refurbished the aluminium vessel?

i read that some people have removed the vessel and sandblasted and powdercoated it.

Did you find the leak? Surely you'd find someone to braze a repair on it.

Hi
I pulled the boiler out and split it , the enamel paint has bubbled allowing the water out. ( see pics)
im looking to get it sandblasted and recoated.

Hi, was it worth painting the container? I am in the same position now and I have starting pulling it apart but not sure if it is actually fix-able. Thanks.

i sent mine to this guy in Germany
i had the vessel sandblasted and resprayed here, sorted the leak but couldnt get it to fire up.
He sorted it , it was the 2 grey wires coming from the pcb board.
still going strong after 4 years.
