Could anyone recommend me somewhere good, where two people could sit and have a casual drink, which also does a cheese board? Needs to be in the centre of town, anywhere from Stephan's Green to the Ilac centre or in between is also OK.

Fallon & Byrne in the basement, Baggots Hutton on South William St., the Cellar Bar in the Merrion, the Drury Buildings.

    Plenty more out there too.

    Meat and Meet.
Fantastic cheeseboard. Sit on stools in the window and watch the world go by.

That would've worked perfectly, only for it appears to be closed down now. :/

    LA Cave, South Anne Street.

Excellent wine list, and cheese and/or meat platters.

Not the absolute best place in Dublin, not the coolest, or trendiest but very, very good, comfortable, friendly and one of my favourite places. Try to get downstairs if you can.

Bit of a walk from the Ilac but Mulligan's in Stoneybatter could be an option if you don't want the wine bar thing. Great beers and whiskeys and lovely food including cheeseboards

You could go to the Port House Pintxo

Nice wine, have cheese boards, meat boards, tapas. It does sit down meals as well but theres plenty of space for wine and chill out. (That said Ive only been there the once)
