Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My Mum has a Elica Integrata 120GR which has gone on the blink. She thinks it's something to do with all the times she pulls it out and pushes it back.

We checked the fuse and the socket. It no longer lights nor works.

Don't suppose anyone has any experience repairing these please?

generally speaking they are throw away when they go faulty, if you look in at the bottom r/h/side you should see a micro switch, try push it with a biro or like if it works the micro is dodgy otherwise its usually the motor which would cost as much to replace as buying a new extractor

Had a look and couldn't see any kind of switch....

We bought a new extractor. My brother (the handyman) was taking the old one apart and he found a little bit on the bottom right hand side that when prodded with a screwdriver made the old extractor work again.

How is it possible to replace the micro switch? My brother says you'd have to practically take everything apart to replace it!
