New Irish Space Unconference: SpaceUp Ireland - 8th October 2016

Hi everyone,

Some friends and I are organising a Space "unconference" taking place in the Cork Institute of Technology on October 8th as part of Spaceweek Ireland.

SpaceUp Ireland is a space unconference which differs from the more traditional conference style in that it is the participants who decide on the topics to be discussed, schedule and structure. SpaceUp Ireland is aimed at space enthusiasts from all walks of life including students, academics, companies and the general public involved in the Irish space sector. Everyone who attends SpaceUp is encouraged to give a talk, moderate a panel, or start a discussion. Sessions are proposed and scheduled on the day they are given, which means the usual hallway conversations turn into full-fledged topics.

Hopefully some of you might be interested it, its shaping up to be a great day.
