Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok. I'm a Arsenal fan but I don't think anyone can deny that Wales are missing Ramsey tonight big time.

Best player for Portugal off, Bayern have got a real gem of a player

Can see Wales winning this if they score 3 and Portugal score no more goals.

You belong elsewhere with that ****.

A post that is probably wasted in a match thread. People giving Ronaldo stick need to realise he's not a 24 year old winger playing for Manchester United and tearing teams apart with trickery and runs.

He's a 31 year old striker. His job is to score goals. And he's done that tonight. He's also missed a massive amount of chances through the tournament also.

Van Basten is the reason that Zlatan is the player he is today. He took him aside for Ajax and said, you're a striker. You keep your energy for when it counts, that split second the defender is tired and you take the initiative.

Ronaldo has done that tonight. Great players throughout history can change the dynamic of their game and still be effective. Pirlo dropping deep, that in itself is an art. Look at Wayne Rooney. It's not an easy thing to do.

I agree, it is a wasted post. Posting it once was sufficient :pac:

Yea it means bale is dropping far to deep to try and be the orchestrator. Wales really do rely on the ball from Allen to a further forward Ramsey looking for bale. The chain has been broker and the gap from striker to midfielder is far to great. Wales lack numbers when it goes back to front too fast as has happened all to often

Does anybody know why the ref is wearing red? :-)
I think it's so he doesn't clash with with the players. If he was wearing yellow it probably would clash with the Wales keeper.

Jesus lads, it's not hard to understand!

    - Wales are the designated away team (Portugal v Wales). Their red home kit clashes with Portugals dark red home kit.
    - Wales change to their dark away kit, which is also deemed to clash with Portugals dark red home kit.
    - Wales (like all International sides) don't have a 3rd kit.
    - Portugal also have to change to their away kit to solve the issue.
But does the Portugal away kit clash with the Wales homekit? I think they should have done it that way.

What is the rule regarding the goalkeepers kit? Do goalkeepers also have home and away kits or what is the story?

Also what happens if all kit combinations clash. 2 teams each with 2 kits. 4 possible combinations. But all clash with each other. And it can't be predicted until the final is actually drawn. Would they make a third kit on such short notice?

Has anyone noticed the Wales goalkeeper clashes with the outfield players?

Christ man. Shut up about the kits!

Hennessy just avoided the most humiliating moment of his life.

To make save and a ball go under him. Hardly, especially at 2-0.

It's Joe Hart you're probably thinking of.

Portugal might be disappointed to win this in 90 minutes. I could swear their players get paid overtime when their games go to extra time.

Exactly. Without Ramsey he is trying to be a stopper, maker and converter. No one can do that for 90 minutes.
