Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Portugal seem to be playing Mourinho football! Would be great for the game if Wales score.

Must be why Portugal are leading.

It'll go down as Ronaldo goal and a Ronaldo assist

But those are just the stats, he has been anonymous yet again in a big game

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,858 ✭✭✭Manutd_4life

Well that goal might have just ruined the game. Hopefully not

    Collins should have stepped out.

What a pass too pick out Nani. CR7 showing he's once again a man you can rely on for the big occasions. Absolute class.

Ronaldo is now the joint highest goalscorer in European Championship history along with Platini.

Really not a very likeable team for me.

So Wales continuing their trend of following Nigel Farage. One good result and then they step aside

But no international trophies, unlike platini

Good job they brought him on at half time :pac:

    What was going in there?

With one of the posters i put it down to a lack of knowledge, the other is normally reliable enough.

Was he off injured for a while? (missed some of the first half myself (

The 2 most important stats there is! What more should he do? Box to box, score a hatrick in first half?

I don't mind Portugal but Pepe, that's a different story. He's a truly horrible person.

Ahhh **** off. The great players come alive when their country needs them. Nobody will give a **** that ronaldo did nothing for 45 minutes when it's all said and done.

Balls, was hoping to see Wales make the final. Regarding the free kick that led to the corner, that led to the goal, did the Ref take play back and give it for the Williams foul?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,787 ✭✭✭Benimar

Ronaldo is now the joint highest goalscorer in European Championship history along with Platini.

Their goals per game average might be a bit different though. Platinis is 1.8 goals per game!

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 219 ✭✭JinkyJackson

Also, Platini did it in one tournament, (I think) this is Cristianos fourth

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 70,165 ✭✭✭✭FrancieBrady

    Bale of brick it's?

That sort of thing is overrated. So many incredible players have never come close to winning a tournament like this, and it should not be held against them.

I was taking the mick out of the poster who said portugal should bring him on at half time even though he was on the ball 3 less times in the first half then Bale.

Disappointed for Wales but if I was to nominate 2 men in the world to knock them out, they'd be Ronaldo and Nani

I hear ya Rayne. Even if nobody else does.

I wouldn't say it's all over. A Welsh goal changes the dynamic.
