vpn for firetv

    has anyone successfully installed any vpn s/w on your amazon fire tv or firestick?
    googled a lot and found nothing.
    side loaded few android vpn app but none working.

    I'm using smartdns for my kid's kindles and my fire tv. With this you just go to advanced settings and set custom dns servers.

    Not sure it works 100% of the time as I noticed with my FireTV sometimes it would have connectivity problems so I'm still evaluating it. There is a free trial, but it's a paid service.

    i am currently using the same - smartdnsproxy on trial.
    but preferred a vpn over dns.
