Not looking for anything wild but something a little bit different as suits for wedding party.

Has anyone got any ideas as to where I might get something smart but a little different?

When you say "different" what do you mean? Do you want to hire or buy?

I'm trying to convince my OH to wear a kilt, I've a Scottish name and tartan and he has lovely legs ;)

The lads in Bond Brothers do kilts. Great service.

    Either, I don't mind.

    I don't really know what I'm looking for but I know what I don't want! I don't want a kilt!

I think I'd like a tweed style wedding suit or something just a touch different from the regular get up.

Anyone got anywhere they think might fit bill?

Tbh, you're better off just thinking "I want a tweed suit" and forget about the wedding part. There's really no difference. So pretty much anywhere that sells suits will work for you. Unless you only want to hire, but then you're restricted. Unfortunately, you're not in the season for tweeds now.

I'd recommend going to Moss Bros or somewhere that specialises in suits and just going in with an open mind. When it boils down to it though, a suit is a suit. It's how you style it that will make it different to the usual. Waistcoats, shirt type, tie vs bow tie, etc.

If you're looking for a tweed suit, Magee is the place to go. They have a shop on St. Anne's St Dublin and also have a concession in Arnotts.

The groom could get a full on tweed suit and the grooms men could get tweed waist coats.

Went with tweed myself. Looked great I thought, different but still was classy with the waistcoat and pocket square.

Turned out that the colour that the bridesmaids dresses were was in fashion for the check lines through the tweed. Looks great in my opinion.

Best to pick defo what you want and work from there.. If you dont want matching or anything the outlet centre in Kildare had a great selection... Himself went with Ben Sherman in the end just a mix of nice pants, shirt nothing was matching...

Were in France for a wedding and most male guests wore light trousers with the navy jacket. There's a name for that, but can't think of it. It's casual enough I suppose by comparison to wedding suits but if right quality, it definitely looks very smart and stylish.
