Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Unfortunate by Bastian for the penalty, otherwise he is running the game. Making Pogba look very poor. I wonder is José watching the game???

It's quite a significant error though

What striking options do Germany even have?

  • Huge loss for Germany

Of course a penalty is significant but it was incredibly harsh in the first place

France often win in friendlies but never in the WC. This is their first meeting in the Euros.

Looked like that to me, he looked to be saying that to the ref that he wasn't expecting a free.

Ref high 5ed him, beglin thought they were new best buddies. He really doesn't follow what's going on.

Consider France didnt beat Germany in the war either so the joke is flawed. France were occupied similar to the first half here though

Stop with the chant. It feels so wrong when it's not the Viking Icelanders doing it

Is it too much of a stretch to compare the ref tonight to the entire allied forces in world war 2 who came to France's assistance in the middle of said occupation? :)

Payet beginning the time wasting early. He's been awful all game.

No. But penalising the Germans for war crimes is similar to penalising them for offenses on the field of play

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,848 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

That is really poor refereeing... 3 of them looking at it and it's a free out.. wtf

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,976 ✭✭✭doc_17

This nonsense by referees stoppping the corner being taken on sort out the pulling/pushing. Just give the free out or penalty ref!

Looks a bit overawed in my opinion. Biggest game of his life i guess.

Was disappointed he didnt take the free that Pogba took in the first half. Does Pogba take frees usually at Juve?

Ref gives the Germans a decision :)

    Scrap the cap!
