Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I can get a rifle free from a relation in England who is retiring from shooting. I can have the rifle free, but I'm wondering how long will it take to get the gun from the UK to Ireland. I've got costs from my local RFD both here and in the UK but they are reluctant to give timescales. Can anyone give me an idea?

Could take 6 weeks my last one took that. About 3 for import licence here and 3 then for the export there

RFD to RFD is the quickest way. Get an RFD here to apply for an import licence from a dealer in the North. Get it sent to the North. Once the import licence is raised the N.dealer informs the DTÌ giving 48 hours advance notice of intending to export.

How long would you expect the rifle to be with customs, should it be in and out in the same day?
