Period of notice

My situation is probably very similar to many of you. I am renting present house since 2014, my contract is due 24/09. Last year we've had an increase of rent so this year it should not happen but as far as I know agency will drop a new lease. My question is what is my notice period? If I will sign new lease do I have to stay for another year or can I terminate it before time without any penalty?

You don't have to sign another lease. Send a letter to the agency indicating that you wish you remain as a part 4 tenant.
