Is everyone looking forward to Tudor week?

Tudor week is my least favourite. I like seeing the pies, but I never find the show stoppers amazing

Maybe they'll do a medieval diseases showstopper - typhoid hors d'oeuvres, dysentery macarons, smallpox cupcakes... the possibilities are endless :)

I predict Selasi to go (and possibly public riots...), and Jane to get star baker

So this is a quarter finals. Jesus, that went fast.

I've got a box of Macarons from Lidl, €2.99 for 12. Chocolate, Raspberry, Coffee and Pistachio.

Yes, it's mass produced cheap food, but they're bloody good for the money.

Selasi must be Relatively Sporty Spice, Benjamina is Baby-faced Spice and nobody seems particularly Scary so by default I guess that makes Jane... Old Spice?

If they're not presented in the blue tin I'll be very disappointed!:D

Really want pie now. A really nice beefy, mushroom one! I'll just make do with my Mint Aero.

    Aw not Benjamina!!!!:(

  • Registered Users Posts: 349 ✭✭yogibear77

    Well feck that anyway

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,980 ✭✭✭wyrn

Whaaaaaaaaat? No way, she should have stayed. Selasi got away again this week

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,604 ✭✭✭Meauldsegosha

Surprised at that result, really thought Selasi would go.

Only two more shows of GBBO (as we know and love it) left. :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 240 ✭✭Wanderer41

Disappointed with who is going this week :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 889 ✭✭✭messy tessy

Devastated for Benjamina, thought she'd be in the final for sure

Benjamina going home was the right decision. She's been good all series, but was the worst this week.

It's harsh, but thems the rules. Happened earlier in the series as well with Kate.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,166 ✭✭✭Tasden

Really disappointed for her. Thought she'd win it. She's been wonderful throughout.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,919 ✭✭✭RosyLily

I definitely thought Selasi was going home. I'll miss Benjamina.....loved her filled Yorkshire puds and mini mousse cakes.

Surely Candice's to lose now. Jane is probably her closest rival.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,174 ✭✭✭RhubarbCrumble

Can't believe Benjamina is gone. She was my favourite since week one. Gutted :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 349 ✭✭yogibear77

Jane all the way. She really did well this week. Thought she would get star baker

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,005 ✭✭✭✭Toto Wolfcastle

Jane reminds me of Clare Balding. I think that's part of why I don't like her.

Glad Selasi made it through but I'm sad that Benjamina is gone.

    I'm still laughing at this

I was hoping for it too and definitely not Candice. But last in technical won't win you Star Baker.

I thought Andrew's jousters looked more like:

A lot of people don't watch those shows, I've watched neither :) I just watch the regular show.

Yeah I don't watch the professional version either, or extra slice. Nobody I know that watches Bake Off watched them either.
